PART I: DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Position Purpose:
This position is arrogate responsibilities for assisting in the plan, coordinating and executing of the statewide limited events crusade for the Oklahoma Lottery Commission designed to increase public awareness and cognition of the Oklahoma Lottery Commission and its products.Principal Activities : The principal activities include the following :
 Participates in developing marketing plans and goals for special events and promotional activities.
 Reviews external event/promotions proposals and researches modern event/promotion opportunities to promote Lottery ticket sales and public trade name awareness.
 Assists in developing advertise materials ( promotional items, degree of sale, etc. ) for distribution during events.
 Assists with development and tracking the annual forwarding and particular events budget.
 Creates and maintains event schedule and staff.
 Represents the Lottery at retailer promotions and statewide events.
 Responsible to pack, transport, set-up and tear-down Lottery booth or preview at special events.
 Develops and maintains ongoing tracking system to analyze and evaluate specific costs, benefits and effectiveness of limited events.
 Identifies needs, researches solutions and makes recommendations for promotional and special events equipment and surrogate.
 Maintains promotional equipment to ensure all are in good working order, makes minor repairs and trouble shoot.
 Ensures that promotional procedures for report track, ticket requests, coupon distribution, etc. are properly executed.
 Tracking and fulfillment of promotional items for events and retailer promotions.
 Tracking and fulfillment of promotional banners requests from field staff.
 Works closely with ambassador staff to execute particular events and fulfill banner requests.
 Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Conflict of interest : All Oklahoma Lottery Commission employees are prohibited from having a fiscal interest in any seller doing business or nominate to do commercial enterprise with the Commission. They may not participate in any decision involving a retailer with whom they have a fiscal interest. If they leave use with the Commission, they may not represent any seller or lottery retailer before the Commission for a menstruation of two ( 2 ) years following termination of employment with the Commission.

Background Investigation :
Oklahoma Statutes require that a background investigation be conducted on each applicant who has reached the final examination choice process prior to employment by the Commission at the floor of class director and above and at any flush within any division of security and as differently required by the board of trustees of the Oklahoma Lottery Commission. The Commission shall pay for the actual cost of the investigations. The results of a background investigation shall not be considered a record open to the public pursuant to the Oklahoma Open Records Act. The Commission is prohibited from employing any person who has been convicted of any felony or a misdemeanor involving illegal gambling or involving moral depravity, or any person who is awaiting sentencing on a plea of guilt or nolo contendere to such a felony or misdemeanor.
