Andrew Phung

Actor, comedian, director, you name it - Andrew Phung has done it. When he walks into the room, you can feel the air ignite with enthusiasm and passion. From a young age, Andrew was taught that "you learn by failing". This valuable lesson led him to a life on the stage, with unique character and a full tank of energy. He began his journey at the Loose Moose Theatre as a volunteer and a decade later, he still performs there as a Senior Ensemble Performer & Instructor. He acts as a mentor for aspiring improvisors, teaching them about stage presence and how to think outside the box.

Currently, Andrew splits his time between Calgary and Toronto, starring in the t.v. show Kim’s Convenience on CBC. Most years he hosts large stages at the Calgary Stampede, performing in front of his home town with pride. Andrew emcees for countless events around the city and he also teaches improv at Central Memorial High School. What can’t this guy do? Congratulations Andrew Phung, we are proud that you call Calgary home.
